It is a stressful disorder to deal with, but you can take steps to help a parent learn to cope with it. By speaking with doctors, counselors, friends, family, and even your church, you can learn to live a somewhat normal life again. The disorder can be confusing, but with proper research and understanding, you can learn to help your parent cope with the illness.
